Mike Whitaker "Whit" played college ultimate at Stanford University and led the team to a national championship in 2002 before joining Boulder’s Johnny Bravo in the club division. He went on to coach the University of Colorado women’s team for four years before leading Denver Molly Brown in the club division and assisting with Denver Small Batch last season. He has also earned one gold and two silver medals as the head coach of the 2013 and 2015 U-24 U.S. Women’s National Teams and the 2017 U.S. Women's World Championships of Beach Ultimate team.

Carolyn "C" Matthews was first introduced to Ultimate at a high school cross-country camp in New Jersey but truly learned the game after moving to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado in 2001. Since then, Matthews has immersed herself in Colorado Ultimate. She played in four college championship semifinals with CU's Kali (now Quandary), went to the UPA's Club Championship with the now-defunct Rare Air and played with, captained, and coached the club national contender Molly Brown from 2012 to 2018. She also coached the girls' YCC Cutthroat team for two summers and has participated in clinics and coaching events throughout Denver and Boulder. In 2013 and 2015, Matthews was the assistant coach for the Women's National Team at the U23 WFDF World Championships in Toronto and London, earning gold and silver medals respectively. She played with the gold medal USA Women's Masters Team at the WFDF 2016 World Ultimate and Guts Championships in London and that same year she was awarded the True Veteran Award. Matthews is currently working in youth development with her husband and fellow Ultimate player, Ryan Farrell, raising their two-year-old, Lincoln, and three-month-old rookie sensation, Cecilia.
